God is Triune.
The God the Bible describes is triune. Scripture reveals to us that there are three individual persons who fully Deity. The three are the Father (1 Corinthians 1:3), the Son (John 1:1), and the Spirit (Acts 5:3-5).Biblically, one is Deity if he is infinite (Psalms 147:5). Since each is infinite it means there is no difference between their Deity or essence. In this sense each together is truly one or united. I have been using the pronoun he. The reason is that there are a number of idols which the Bible describes which are female but Biblically, there are no actual female Gods or Goddesses and the Heavenly Father the Bible describes definitely does not have a mate.

But is the Heavenly Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost of LDS apologists triune? In one sense it is true that LDS apologists teach that Heavenly Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are the only Gods which with LDS have to do. Since, LDS apologists teach there are three beings who are God all LDS apologists argue that the LDS Gods are a trinity. But there is an immerse difference between what the Bible teaches about God’s tri-unity and LDS apologists. The Heavenly Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost of LDS apologists are not a tri-unity because they are not infinite. Instead, the Gods of LDS apollogists should be described by the term tri-theism. Tri-theism refers to the working unity of three different and separate Gods. You see, each LDS God began at a different time than any other and each God had a beginning as Deity. Therefore, there are no two Gods who actually possess the same amount of Deity and none of them are infinite. Therefore, the Gods of LDS apologists are not triune.

On the other hand, the Heavenly Father, Son, and Holy Spirit the Bible describes are truly triune. First, Deity is described by the word infinite and each of the three are said to be Deity (John 6:27, 1:1; Acts 5:3-5). Since all three individual “persons” are fully Deity then there is absolutely no difference between their Deity or essence. Why three? I have absolutely no idea! It is beyond my comprehension. But that is part of what makes God truly Deity. All I know is that Scripture reveals that there are three “persons” who are each fully Deity, they are infinite, and they have been around “from everlasting to everlasting” (Psalms 90:2). I don’t try to comprehend this fact but, within the bounds of revelation, I do attempt to understand it. This very deep theological issue is very important and applies to our every day lives. At the very least, I accept it because every piece of evidence in the Bible, God’s former self-revelation, points to this conclusion. My friend, do you see the difference?
